Our radiochemical laboratory is fully equipped to support Environmental Fate, ADME and Environmental Toxicolgy studies with radiolabelled test substances. We perform mass balance studies on total radioactivity using LSC measurements of aqueous samples, liquid extracts and solubilized tissues, and of combusted solid sammples like soil, plants and blood. To evaluate the formation of metabolites and degradation products, specific analyses are performed using (HP)TLC and/or HPLC in combination with radiodetection.

Isotopes we handle include 14C, 3H, 32P, 35S and 125I. Metabolite identification is performed on our Accurate Mass HPLC-MSn (“Orbitrap”) or GC-MS platforms.
